Susanne Kuehrer


Susanne Kuehrer is President of Fe-Ve.
She is responsible for the initial business analysis of innovative ideas, business modelling in R&D projects, commercial evaluation of technology transfer (exploitation potential of research results) and matchmaking activities. Before joining Fe-Ve, she worked for many years among others for Telekom Austria as their international liaison manager for the Collaborative Research, specialised also in evaluating the exploitation potential of their R&D activities’ results in FP7 and AAL. She holds a MBA degree in Intra- and Entrepreneurship as well as a M.Sc. degree in International Organisational and Personnel development

Peter Hoogweg

Peter Hoogweg


Peter Hoogweg is the Operational Director of Fe-Ve.
He is a financial services industry professional and after a successful career in the financial industry, he started his own company and later joined as a shareholder in Fe-Ve. He shares his broad knowledge of creating a new business from the bottom up and helps start-ups to avoid usual pitfalls, serving as a mentor and trainer. In addition his financial background and extensive network in the financial industry in both the Netherlands and the UK will be a great asset in supporting Start-Ups to gain access to funding.

Marinus Maaskant

Marinus Maaskant


Marinus Maaskant is an advisor and shareholder of Fe-Ve.
As a financial services industry professional with an extensive business network and serial entrepreneurship experience, he is responsible for coaching, connecting and mentoring start-ups and SME’s, in particular with their funding and cash flow challenges. After 20 years of banking experience he had started various companies in consultancy business coaching, microfinance and business expansion, holding also various memberships in supervisory boards of Eurasian Banks.

Susanna Avessta

Susanna Avessta


Susanna Avessta can be characterised as an innovator and a mentor.
She founded fe-ve SAS in 2010 with five senior consultants and is enthusiastic to push forward business cases and to affect innovation policies towards entrepreneurial-friendly, risk-assuming and bottom-up processes. Susanna's background is in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications and Entrepreneurship, both academic, and put in practice. She has MSc and PhD degrees, MBA studies from Helsinki and Turku universities in Finland. She was leading a manufacturing company in the transportation business until 2005; held amongst others the position of Principal Lecturer of Information Systems in Turku University of Applied Sciences, Department of Telecommunication and e-Business 2006-2007; has been a coordinator of international affairs and several EU projects at IBBT/iMinds in Belgium and UPMC Sorbonne Universities in France. Susanna Avéssta has been involved in establishing international non-profit organisations, supporting community and strategy building in various ICT applied thematic area, always in the crossroads of public and private sector.
